Thomas the Tank Engine is expanding his friendship ground to include trains from all around the world.
The children’s favourite is set for a revamp with fourteen new engines being introduced to the show.
The new characters will come from all over the world including India and Brazil and will be introduced to fans in a film called The Great Race, the New York Times reports.
Four of Thomas’s new companions will also be female including the “fearless” Ashima from India.
