No, they are not.

However Credlin, Tony Abbott’s former chief of staff is in the upcoming issue of The Weekly.

“It is not the cover,” editor-in-chief Helen McCabe says. “It’s not an interview or even a profile. I am as disappointed as anyone. I think she is one of the most interesting women in the country. I hope, that one day she does do an interview and preferably with us.”

“But the truth is, it’s our annual power list, which comes out next week and was settled before the change of leadership.”

The magazine will feature the 50 most powerful women in the country. It goes on sale on Thursday September 24.

Speculation that Ms Credlin was the October cover star and that The Weekly was going to pulp the issue after Abbott lost power on Monday night.

“Nothing has been pulped,” McCabe says.
