It seems toilet roll makers have not only reduced the number of sheets in a roll but they’ve also shrunk each square- but the price has remained the same.

News.com.au has revealed Kimberly-Clark has admitted to recently reducing the length of their Cottonelle toilet paper by 1cm to just 10cm.
However, the price hasn’t shifted.
A spokeswoman told the publication that the sheet thickness was increased by 10per cent and softness was improved but the length reduction follows a 10 per cent decrease in weight in 2014.
But they’re not alone.
Sorbent are believed to have shed 0.5cm to 10.5cm and Quilton has cut the number of squares in a roll from 190 to 180.
Interestingly, consumers haven’t been informed about the change nor has there been a price drop.
