Husband wakes up to find wife missing from Sydney home

“Serious concerns are held for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.”

A man has woken up to find his wife missing from their Sydney home on Sunday morning.

Azhen Rawanduz was last seen by her husband on Saturday night in their Chipping Norton home in Sydney’s western suburbs.

Police released a statement on Tuesday saying “serious concerns are held for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.”

The 32-year-old was wearing a long purple “pyjama dress” with a dark pink robe. She usually wears an Islamic headscarf and is of Middle Eastern appearance.

Azhen is described as a medium build with brown hair, brown eyes and 160 cm tall.

Liverpool Local Area Command officers have conducted “numerous searches” according to the statement and are urging anyone who sees Azhen or believes they may know of her whereabouts to contact them.

NSW Police are also urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
