A sixth paedophile has been sentenced for his involvement in the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl.
Part of the ‘evil 8’ paedophile ring, Ryan Clegg was sentenced to 12 years and nine months behind bars in the Perth District Court after pleading guilty to 15 charges including sexually penetrating the girl and indecently photographing her on multiple occasions over a six-month period.
Sickeningly, on the four occasions Clegg had sex with the girl, her father was in the room watching.
The court heard Clegg had told friends the girl “grizzles but sometimes I think she does like it, I am gentle”.
He also said “I f–ked her while her dad watched and then he had his turn”.
Clegg joins the victim’s father (who can’t be identified to protect her) and four others already jailed for their role.
Former pastor David Volmer was jailed for 10 years, photographer Simon Clarke was imprisoned for three years, Nicholas Beer jailed for seven years and Troy Milbourne sentenced to five years.
Alfred Impicciatore has pleaded not guilty and his trial is scheduled for May.
