A retailer is targeting one of its customers’ biggest gripes – slow walkers – with dedicated pedestrian “fast lanes”.
Shoppers at British retailer Argos’ Liverpool store can now navigate their way around avoiding dawdlers and pavement hoggers – and just in time for the busy Christmas shopping period.
“We want to test consumer reaction to a dedicated pavement fast lane,” Central operations director at Argos, Andy Brown, said.
“We hope it alleviates some of the biggest shopping high street frustrations.”
The initiative has been a huge hit on social media, with many patrons calling for it to be rolled out around the world.
