The US Coast Guard has suspended its search for a man who fell from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas.
Local news stations published horrifying footage of the man clinging to part of the ship before losing his grip and falling into the sea.
The images were captured by a woman who appears, from her accent, to be Australian.
Officials said an airplane and helicopter search around the Bahamas had failed to find the man, who is believed to be from Brazil.
