QLD teen and service dog wear matching dresses to formal

Prepare for your heart to explode.

Dogs really are everyone’s best friend, but none more so than 16-year-old Erin Condrin and her service dog Lacey.

So it’s only fair they were matching outfits to Erin’s formal!

Erin suffers from Ehlers-Danlos, a painful genetic condition that causes her joints to dislocate up to 20 times a day.

Everyday tasks, like writing and bending, can be excruciating for Erin, but life has become a whole lot easier – and happier – ever since she met Lacey.

They first came together last February and began working full-time since October. They’re so tight that they wore matching outfits to Erin’s formal earlier this month, with Lacey’s skirt made out of the off-cuts of Erin’s dress.

While Lacey had to stay at home while Erin attended her formal, the cute pair still got plenty of happy snaps, like this one below:

Writing on her Facebook page Life With Lacey, Erin said: “The connection I have with this dog is beyond words.”

“Lacey makes life easier by picking up dropped items, opening and closing doors, carrying objects, pressing light switches/buttons and so much more, not to mention her constant friendship.”

So cute!
