A Perth primary school teacher has been charged by Child Abuse Squad detectives after a video recording device was found in a school toilet cubicle.
The 58-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with 27 counts of indecently recording a child under the age of 13 as well as 10 counts of installing an optical surveillance device unlawfully.
Police are now contacting the parents of students filmed by the device.
The man will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on April 11.
