QLD police issue amber alert for five young children who they believe may be in danger and in the company of a 31-year-old man.

Police in Queensland have issued an amber alert for five young children who they believe may be in danger and traveling in a grey coloured sedan in the company of a 31-year-old man.

The children, a boy aged six and four girls aged five, four, one and two months, were last seen at a residence in Third Avenue, Home Hill.

The man they could be travelling with has been identified as Zane Smallwood and the car they are believed to be in is a grey coloured 2002 Ford Falcon sedan with Queensland registration 947-WKD.

The car the children are in could look something like this.

Police are urging anyone with information to call 131 564 or call 000 if there is a presence of life threatening.
