A group of three Irish mums have been captured on CCTV footage allegedly stealing from a grocery store in Brisbane, and it’s apparently just the latest in a long string of scams the women have been running across Brisbane.

The trio of women are all present in the CCTV footage from a Chevron Island supermarket, and two of the women are shown to be putting grocery items into what appears to be designer handbags. After being approached by staff from the store, one of the women unloads her things back into a grocery store basket. It is alleged the women still managed to leave the store with almost $150 of stolen goods.

Restauranteurs around Brisbane have alleged the trio of women has also scammed their way into hundreds of dollars worth of free meals by placing glass into their food. Similarly, many small business owners in the city have said the women have stolen countless clothes, shoes and beauty items.

One store owner told Seven News the Mum’s are “very pushy.”
