On August 23, we introduced you to a schoolgirl from Utah in the US, whose favourite pastime is hunting, and killing, animals.
Evidently, she loves it so much that she has even tweeted pictures of herself standing over the dead carcasses of fallen giraffe, zebra and impala that she killed while on a recent trip of South Africa.
Naturally, this – and her Facebook page, Braids and Bows, which is brimming with images of her “trophies” – has drawn worldwide attention, with the 12-year-old being labelled an “animal hater” and “a murderer”.
And the most recent person to face off with the 12-year-old is British journalist and Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan.
During the interview, Morgan pressed her for remorse, and even asked how she would feel if he “hunted down” her cat and posted pictures of himself “celebrating the slaughter” of her pet.
Aryanna and her father, Eli, dodged the question.
Following the heated interview, Morgan told the Mirror UK exactly what he thinks.
“She’s clearly been brainwashed by her father into thinking this is all perfectly normal but British viewers found their interview appalling,” he said.
“As for the pet cat question, her shocked face said it all.”
But not even Morgan’s remarks, or the death threats she regularly receives on Facebook, will stop her.
“It won’t stop me hunting. I will always hunt. It’s something that thousands of people do and it’s never going to stop.”
