The grieving partner of Australian stuntman killed in Brisbane speaks out

More details about the doting dad and hard-working athlete emerge after he was killed filming a music video in Queensland.

Yesterday, a seasoned stuntman was tragically shot dead on the Brisbane set of a Bliss n Eso music video.

It has since been discovered that this man is Johann Ofner, a 28-year-old father-of-one, who was dearly loved by his friends, family and his devastated partner Kati Garnett.

“Today the love of my life was taken from me and I still can’t believe it,” she wrote in a heartbreaking Instagram post, as reported by KidSpot.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do with out you, the best people are always taken from us you were a true Angel. I love you so-so much forever and ever.”

Tributes from Johann’s friends continue to roll in, namely expressing their deepest condolences and that they will take care of his six-year-old daughter in the wake of his death.

One said: “Bro don’t worry about the fam,” while another wrote to his daughter, “Your daddy was the best man I knew. Be just like him.”

According to reports, Detective Inspector Tom Armitt says police are now conducting a criminal investigation into the death of the much-loved friend and father.

“We do not know specifically how those injuries occurred at this point in time and that’ll be [the] subject of our investigation,” he said.
