Daytime TV is the last place you’d ever expect to hear the C-bomb being dropped, let alone on a children’s channel. But that’s what happened to a mum in the UK, Lyndsey Mann, who was almost floored by what she heard.

With the program Show Me Show Me playing in the background while her daughter was out with her father, the 25-year-old was shocked to see presenter Chris Jarvis on her screen singing the words “you’re a fluttering c**t” repeatedly as he rode around on a scooter.

She uploaded a video of the segment to Facebook and it’s now gone viral, with outraged parents demanding answers for the gaffe.

“I wasn’t really taking any notice of what was on the telly, which was on while I was tidying up, but then I just heard that word, so I rewound the show because I couldn’t believe it,” Lyndsey told The Sun.

“And then every time I replayed it, I just couldn’t hear anything but that word.”

CBeebies took to Facebook to address the claims, writing: “It’s kite everyone, kite! We make shows for your little ones so it’s always going to be kite.”
