At almost double the national average, Jakeโ€™s proud mother, Nicole, was a bit shocked, as well.

โ€œI had a feeling he was going to be a big boy โ€” didnโ€™t realise that big,โ€ Nicole told the Nine Network, โ€œIt was very exhausting, so glad to have him out.โ€

Jakeโ€™s older siblings, Ella, Brodie and Ruby were also well above average, with each weighing in at 11 pounds 6 ounces, 11 pounds 10 ounces and 8 pounds 13 ounces, respectively.

Must be something in the water!
