SimplyBe is a women’s fashion brand that sells sizes underwear for curvy women from size 12-32. Imagine the surprise for the their online clientele, surfing the web for undies, when they discover an image of Hitler’s autobiography “Mein Kampf” nestled alongside the lacy knickers.
SimplyBe was shocked by the blunder, and apologised to shoppers after it was pointed out to them on Twitter according to the Mirror.
The Nazi leader’s book cover image was in place of a £5 “full cup wired black bra” in the sale section.
Simply Be were quick to explain in a reply on the social networking site: “Oh no! We’ve had a few site issues with wrong images showing. Thank you for raising it, we have passed it onto the team here to sort out asap!”
They added: “It’s a fault in our system that has picked a random wrong image to appear instead of the correct one.”
One user said: “Was somewhat surreal seeing Adolf online today glowering amid the bras I was browsing.”
It wasn’t the only image that was incorrect in the system, but it was definitely the most awkward.
