Nardya Miller has dying wish granted by strangers

Queensland beauty therapist Nardya Miller wanted to give her fiancé Liam Fitzgerald just one thing before she died: a debt-free future.

The 25-year-old has Cystic Fibrosis and was given a week to live last Wednesday after her body rejected a double lung transplant, which she received two years ago.

Her cousin Tachae, having seen the heartbreak Nardya and Liam had endured for years, set up a GoFundMe page calling on the public for donations.

“Nardya is loosing (sic) the battle, she is in palliative care and she needs a oxygen 24 hours of the day at the young age of just 25 years.”

“Nardya will not be going home […] What I am asking from you is to please if you can, donate even $2 to this go fund me page in order for us to keep Nardya’s dreams of having her fiancé not be left in debt, and to look after her three little fur babies,” she wrote in a heartfelt plea.

In only 7 days, 890 people have opened their hearts and the wallets, donating what they could. The total raised now stands at $26,305, blitzing the original $10k goal.

Our hearts go out to Nardya’s family and fiance Liam during this difficult time. At least now she can rest in peace having had her dying wish granted.
