A Muslim father has admitted strangling his daughter to death after she was caught shoplifting condoms to have sex with her forbidden boyfriend.
The Mirror reports that Asadullah Khan, 51, and his wife Shazia, 41, originally from Pakistan are both on trial in Germany for the murder of 19-year-old Lareeb Khan.
Khan told a court that his daughter, a dental technician, had brought “dishonour” on his family.
He had already arranged a marriage for her when she began seeing a local boy.
The couple admitted strangling their daughter, and taking her in a wheelchair from their high-rise apartment to a forest where they rolled her body down an embankment.
Khan’s wife said her daughter had “stopped wearing the headscarf. One day we received a letter from the police saying she had been caught trying to steal condoms.”
“At this point it became clear that there was sexual contact. When I showed the letter to my husband he snapped.”
