Perth-based blogger Constance Hall has inspired thousands of women to share photos of their ‘imperfect’ bodies on social media after she implored that they love themselves #likeaqueen.
In less than 24 hours the post has been shared over 4000 times, recieved over 42,000 likes and had a deluge of woman getting on board her worthy self-love train.
The blogger posed in her mismatched underwear, babe on her hip and wrote along side –
“Like a queen you guys
“She’s flawed,
“She swears,
“She eats the cake!!
“She has a past and she owns that shit,
“She’s skinny, curvy, flabby, muscly and she loves it.
“Because she’s a f**king queen”
“Love yourself the way you want your daughters, nieces, friends kids to love themselves.”
Before she requested her followers to post a photo of themselves in their imperfect glory.
“Scars from surgeries, stretch marks, rolls and handles #LikeAQueen. Those stretch marks are from carrying my miracle baby, who drives me nuts on a daily basis. But I wouldn’t change a thing.
“First time ever showing this much, to empower the beauty of a woman’s body in all shapes and sizes!”
“Aren’t you afraid you’re getting ‘too big’ for a woman?”
“My womanhood is not tied to physical weakness. My body is not a sexual object. My worth is not in my breasts.”
“Im not perfect but I have 3 amazing kids & I love my curves, stretch marks and body!! We need to embrace all our little imperfections because they are what makes us unique!! #likeaqueen #happyinmyskin #motherofthree”
“I look at this picture and I see a stretched out belly, thunder thighs and ball bag boobs being pushed up as much as humanly possible. But that body created the most beautiful little boy imaginable, and my partner finds that the greatest thing in the world and truly believes I’m incredibly sexy! I have to give him a lot of the credit for the majority of my confidence, and he’s one sexy ass bitch too wink emoticon #likeaqueen”
This is not the first time Constance Hall has gone viral, with this post being her third time on one month. Her hilarious take on “parent sex” and her raw salutation to all mums just doing their best have also reached far and wide.
