A mum-to-be and her unborn twin girls died on Christmas Eve after she suffered a seizure.
31-year-old Kirsty Walker from England was just eight weeks away from giving birth when she collapsed with a seizure at home, brought on by her epilepsy, The Mirror reports.
“Kirsty used to call the babies her ‘twinkle twins’, because she loved anything pink and twinkly,” her mother Debbie told The Mirror.
“She said if she was going to have girls she was going to call them Soraya and Regan, as they were both names of princesses.”
“Three princesses have gone together to heaven now.”
“Christmas was Kirsty’s favourite time of year.”
“The pain and hurt we feel I cannot put into words.”
Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
