North Carolina mother and son, Melissa Kitchens and Shaun Pfeiffer, were arrested earlier this month. It is alleged they had sex in August.
According to the New York Daily News, the son, Pfeiffer, has also been charged with being intoxicated and disruptive, indecent liberties with a child and communicating threats, according to police reports.
Pfeiffer lives with his wife, Shannon Roman, and their son.

Earlier this year Kitchens left a comment on a photo of Pfeiffer on Facebook. “Can’t get over how handsome you are and I’m about to cry,” Kitchens said in a comment on a Facebook photograph about her son.
“Things are very stressful and I love you and I respect any decision — as long as your happy and safe … I miss you and wish I had more time with you. I love you Shaun and hoping life can give mom and break and you […] we all need a lot of happiness […] I’ve been feeling really bad tonight – just wish the lemons will go away and bring nothing but sunshine and happiness […] love this pic.”
The mother and son pair face up to three years in jail for the charges of incest alone.
