Horrific footage has emerged of a mother abusing and kicking her toddler daughter down a step.
The confronting footage of the crying child beaten against the tile floor was captured in the Guangdong province of southeast China.
In the six-second clip, the woman reportedly yells, “Still crying?” to her baby girl after viciously kicking her and yanking her to sit.
After being viewed over eight million times, Beijiao police tracked down the mother and reported that the toddler didn’t sustain any identifiable injuries.
The mother was only given a verbal warning.
The Daily Mail reported that the mother told police offers she was finding it difficult to control her emotions because she had been under a lot of stress.
Her baby’s nonstop crying apparently caused her to lash out but she said she greatly regretted her actions.
The Beijao police confirmed the baby is now under the care of her grandparents after the medics said she was okay physically.
