Caitlyn Jenner has made her debut, posing for the cover of Vanity Fair. And it's fabulous.

1. WOW.

Caitlyn Jenner – formerly known as Bruce Jenner, who was the Dad in the Kardashian clan – has made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair and … WOW.

The image of Caitlyn, in a cream corset, has knocked the socks off critics.

It was taken by the legendary Annie Leibowitz.

This is the first time Caitlyn has revealed the name by which she now wishes to be known (rumours of a K-for Kaitlyn, to fit in with rest of the Kardashian clan – Bruce was Kim’s step-father – were just off the mark.)

In an accompanying interview, Caitlyn says: “Bruce always had to tell a lie, from morning to night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Cover comes out, I’m free.”

The issue is due out on June 9 but can be accessed now by those who subscribe online.

The story “chronicles the tensions, traumas, and courage that shaped Caitlyn into the woman you see today.”

Caitlyn says: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, “You just blew your entire life.” “

Applause all round. It’s magnificent.

Kourtney Kardashian has posted the first image of Caitlyn not on the cover, but behind the wheel of a Porsche instead.

Kris Jenner is yet to break her silence on the cover.

Caitlyn Jenner’s second tweet (the first was posting the cover) says: “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”

It has been retweeted 200 thousand times in six hours. And Caitlyn has already gained 1.29 million followers.

2. How likely is your partner to cheat on you?

Male or female, it seems to depend on how much you earn.

A new study published in the American Sociological Review says both sexes, strangely enough, have a tendency to bite the hand that feeds them.

The study found that women who rely completely on their spouse for financial support are more likely to cheat than women who earn at least some of their own income.

Men who rely solely on their wives for income support are also more likely to cheat.

The more equal a couple are in terms of financial contribution, the less likely either is to cheat, except in cases when the husband is extremely highly paid or in a powerful position – athletes, politicians and captains of industry – and the wife is an ornament. Those guys do a fair bit of cheating, too.

The report says that people who don’t feel dependent seem more secure in a relationship, and therefore appear less likely to seek a way out.

“You would think that people would not want to bite the hand that feeds them but that is not what my research shows,” said the study’s lead author Christin L. Munsch, an assistant sociology professor at the University of Connecticut.

“The findings indicate (that) people don’t like to feel dependent … (It) may be an attempt to restore relationship equity.”

3. New Fifty Shades book to hit shelves.

Still on the subject of sex, are you ready to get hot and spanky with your partner all over again?

The fourth installment of the Fifty Shades trilogy – technically speaking, that makes it a tetralogy – will be published in June.

The new book, Grey, is told from spank-master Christian Grey’s point of view.

Writer Erika James, better known as E.L James, announced the book on her instagram page and on her website

The series follows the romance between a young billionaire, Christian Grey, and a college student, Anastasia Steele. It’s the biggest selling series of all time, and it was first published in Australia. Which is kind of typical, right?

4. Charity CEO sacked for allegedly sending inappropriate picture.

In a case that has rocked the charity world, a CEO of a child cancer charity has been sacked after one of the Mums of a sick child complained that he had sent her a picture of his penis.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Kevin Robinson, who was a finalist for Australian of the Year, helped set up Little Wings, which flies bush children with cancer to the city for treatment.

He was sacked as CEO and director following allegations last night. In a statement, the board said: “On Monday the Board of Little Wings terminated Mr Robinson as CEO and Director of the organisation. The decision was taken promptly once the Board became fully aware of allegations against Mr Robinson.”

The Telegraph says the complaint was brought by Armidale mother Trudy Fittler, whose son Noah was the first passenger on a Little Wings flight. She said he sent her pornographic texts on her mobile phone.

“I didn’t want other vulnerable mothers to be put in the position I was,” she said.

5. There are reports that an American woman has been mauled to death by a lion in South African safari park.

The reports say the lion managed to get into the woman’s car.

The woman was apparently travelling in a car with the windows rolled down and the lion managed to climb in.

The attack is the third big cat attack this year, with reports that an Australian tourist, Brendan Smith, from Perth, was attacked by a lion in in March and a 13-year-old boy was attacked by a cheetah shortly after.

6. The locks of love on a famed Paris bridge have started to come down.

Parisian workers began clipping off the locks after part of the Pont des Arts – or locks of love – footbridge began to collapse under the weight of half-a-million locks clipped to it.

Romantic types write their name on padlocks, clip the locks to the bridge and tossed the key into the River Seine.

So, does this mean you are no longer together forever and ever and never to part? Probably.

7. Millionaire tipping video goes viral

So, you’re a valet, paid something like eight dollars an hour to stand outside in the cold all night, guarding monstrously expensive cars while their owners party up a storm inside the mansion.

You treat the cars really well, in the hope that you might get a tip.

The head of CBS, Les Moonves, who earned $67 million last year, comes out and you give him his keys.

He opens his wallet, but he only has $100 bills.

Does he tip you? No. He does not. He says: “I only have $100 bills” and then mutters something about maybe tipping you next time, and then he leaves, without giving you a cent. And the video of the exchange has gone viral.

As it should.
