Fears for 14-year-old girl missing for six days

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a Sydney teen missing from south west Sydney.

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a 14-year-old girl missing from south west Sydney.

Shannon Wiggins’ last confirmed sighting was on Thursday at Canterbury Railway Station.

Police are also investigating unconfirmed reports that the schoolgirl was seen at her Belmore home on Friday and outside a school in Sydney’s south west on Tuesday.

Despite extensive searches she hasn’t been found and her family have concerns for her welfare due to her age and because she suffers from medical issues, said police.

Ms Wiggins is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm-170cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to come forward.
