Search underway for two children who vanished from NSW park

NSW Police are looking for two children who went missing after their mother left them alone in a park for 15 minutes.

UPDATE: William Bradbury, 10, and sister Savannah, 4, are found ‘safe and well’.

A NSW Police spokesman said the children were found with a family member on Friday morning.

The children are now believed to be with their father in Tenterfield, about 130 kilometres west of Casino, reports Fairfax media.

EARLIER: A search is underway for two children who went missing after their mother left them alone in a park for 15 minutes.

Brother and sister William and Savanah Bradbury, aged 10 and four, have been missing since 3pm yesterday after their mother left them at Colley Park in Casino, NSW, to visit a nearby home. When she returned minutes later the kids were gone.

There have been reports of unconfirmed sightings of the children on Friday morning and a local crime Facebook page suggests the children may have run away after a witness told police that they saw the kids walk away from the park on their own.

Police and State Emergency Service personnel have conducted door knocks in the area and are asking residents to be on the lookout.

No photos of the children have been made available but William Bradbury is described as Caucasian appearance, stocky build, mousey short hair, and he was wearing a black ‘bad boys’ t-shirt, blue shorts and no shoes.

Savannah Bradbury is described as Caucasian appearance, average height and build, with blonde curly hair, and she was wearing a pink dress with a purple shirt underneath, with white, black and pink coloured shoes.

Anyone who sights the children is asked to contact police immediately.
