The First Lady added some funk to the 137th annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday afternoon as she danced on stage in the presidential backyard in front of 35,000 guests.

Michelle’s groove with the So You Think You Can Dance All Stars celebrated the fifth anniversary of the First Lady’s “Let’s Move!” campaign battling childhood obesity, with the theme of the event named #GimmeFive.

But this was not the first time the moves of the First Lady have been put on show, with Michelle performing ‘The evolution of Mom Dancing Part 2’ on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week, and a dance-off with Ellen on the entertainer’s show earlier this year.

Her performance of “The Dougie” at Alice Dean Middle School in 2011 also went viral.

And with moves like that – mum-like or not – we don’t blame her for showing them off every now and then.

Margie Abbott getting her groove on at Government House would receive a warm welcome at The Weekly’s headquarters.
