A man has been found dead in his car at the bottom of a cliff on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.

A man has been found dead in his car at the bottom of a cliff on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

Walkers discovered the car at the base of the seaside cliff in Flinders at 10.50am yesterday and called police.

The body of an adult male was found in the car after it was apparently deliberately driven off the cliff. The SES and fire brigade assisted police in a mission to recover the body.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
