Man attacks boy in primary school toilets

The boy was going to the toilet at his Geelong primary school when a man grabbed him.

A boy has dramatically escaped harm by punching his would-attacker when he was grabbed in the toilet block of his Geelong primary school.

The boy was going to the toilets at Mandama Primary School in Grovedale, near Geelong, at about 2pm on Monday when he was grabbed on the arm by an unknown male.

The quick-thinking youngster punched the man and managed to break his grip before running to alert teachers, the Geelong Advertiser reports.

Police were called in to search the school but couldn’t find the man, who was described as between 20-30 years old, Caucasian, tall and skinny with dark stubble. He was wearing a black hoodie and black sunglasses.

The Department of Education is also investigating the incident.
