Troy Stephen Johnson, 31, was arrested after a three-month investigation by police after he allegedly snatched a girl as she walked to school at Narara, near Gosford, in May.

Photos of the horrific assault, as well as a detailed plot for the attack, were found on his phone when his wife handed it into investigators, police will allege.

Police will allege a 12-year-old girl was walking to school when she saw a man wearing a camouflage suit emerge from bushes before he bound, gagged and raped her.

He was holding a large stick and forced her into the bushland next to the path while holding her in a headlock, according to court documents.

Johnson then allegedly tied her to a tree and forced the girl to perform a sex act on him for up to 10 minutes after showing her a video to teach her how to.

He then took photos of the young girl before she was allowed to get dressed and he walked her out of the bushland.

Johnson was arrested after an extensive police search for a man wearing a head-to-toe camouflage suit, or Ghillie suit, used to blend in with bushes.

He was questioned by police in June after another 11-year-old girl claimed he had been abusing her since October last year.

The 31-year-old allegedly exposed himself to her several times over a six-month period, including one time when his wife was in the shower, according to court documents.

Johnson also allegedly offered the 11-year-old $100 to perform a sex act on him.

The day after the 11-year-old spoke to police, Johnson’s wife handed over one of his mobile phones to police where they found pictures of him in a Ghillie suit and pictures of the victim.

In a raid of his Woongarah home, police allegedly found camouflage clothing as well as knives and cable ties.

Johnson has been charged with aggravated ¬sexual assault of someone under 16 and performing an aggravated act of indecency on a person under 16.

After his arrest on Friday, Johnson allegedly tried to kill himself by overdosing on insulin. When paramedics warned the diabetic that he would die, he allegedly said: “That’s what I want to do.”
