The Kiis 1065 breakfast show ran runner-up to Australian Radio Network rivals Brendan “Jonesy” Jones and Amanda Keller after the ARN show picked up 1.8 points to receive a 10.0 audience share and land the number one spot.
“Honestly, I am stunned,” Jones told the Daily Telegraph. “It’s like the great white whale.”

Co-host Amanda Keller, 52, was equally surprised.
“It’s not often I have a whiff on champagne on my breath on a Tuesday,” Keller said. “When we first started working together nine years ago we went No.1 and it was our running joke that no one ever said we had to do it again.”
Kyle and Jackie O dropped 1.4 per cent to an audience share of 9.5 per cent – the first time in 53 ratings surveys that King Kyle has been dethroned from the number one spot.
Earlier this year the controversial radio duo jumped ship from their former station, 2Day FM resulting in a ratings plunge from 8.7 per cent to 4.2 per cent.

This morning Jackie O and other KiisFM staff paid a visit to Keller and Jones in studio to congratulate the pair but King Kyle was off sick couldn’t pass on his well wishes in person.
