Is passenger shaming ok?

A Facebook page has been set up dedicated to shaming people while out in public. Regardless of what their actual behaviour is, do we have the right to be vigilante naming and shaming?

Social media is a great way to keep in touch with friends and even stalk your ex-partner if you desire, but should we be able to upload images of perfect strangers and judge their behavior?

A Facebook page with over 360,000 followers is dedicated to shaming people while out in public. While some of the behaviour is certainly questionable, innocent people are being ridiculed and embarrassed.

Regardless of what their actual behaviour is, do we have the right to be vigilante naming and shaming?

“This asshole on a flight from Hong Kong to Singapore, refused to allow the window passenger raising her blinds during landing, claiming the afternoon sun was too bright for his eyes. He repeatedly argued with flight attendants on the issue and when they said it was a safety procedure he told them it was not as the window seat immediate in front happened to be windowless and the plane was still flying.”
