We hope you’re sitting down because we have some big news to share, Pumpkin Patch will be back for 2018!
Parents across the country were devastated when the children’s clothing store closed down after 26 years in 2016.
The closure meant the loss of over 1600 jobs and a sad goodbye to the iconic kids wardrobe staple.
But thanks to the beauty of the internet, we’re able to shop Pumpkin Patch again.
The new collection will feature fashion forward clothes that let kids be kids available in sizes 0000 to 8 and nothing will be over $40.
The brand was purchased earlier this year by the Catch Group who transformed the brand into an online store.
Catch CEO, Nati Harpaz confirms the team is excited to launch the brand with its new more contemporary focus.
The stylish new range is available at www.pumpkinpatch.com.au.
In 2016 retailer Pumpkin Patch closed its store doors after it was unable to find a buyer for the business.
Receiver Brendon Gibson, from KordaMentha, said they had wanted to sell the business but had no other option when there was no interest.
“Unfortunately, while the brand is still attractive, the business itself ultimately drew no interest at the conclusion of the sale process,” Mr Gibson said.
“This decision has not been made lightly and we acknowledge it will come as a blow to staff.”
Pumpkin Patch posted a full-year loss of $15.5 million for fiscal 2016, during which time its debt to lender ANZ increased to $46 million from $39.1 million.
The internet, what can’t it do?
