How many girls are in this photo?

The internet loses its mind over yet another puzzling picture.

Four? Five? Ten? Twins? Triplets?

While the answer might be obvious to some Swiss photographer Tiziana Vergari’s image has proved puzzling to many on the Internet who have been sent into a spin about what they actually see.

But Tizzia, who has more than 56 thousand Instagram followers, shut down speculation when she confirmed that there are just two girls pictured – believed to be her daughters.

The mind-boggling shot, which garnered more than 16 thousand likes and thousands of comments, was originally only supposed to be part of Instagram’s Weekend Hashtag Project #WHPidentity, which asked community members to submit images celebrating individuality.
