The hostage situation in which a man was holding people captive in a London restaurant has come to an end.
There are no reported injuries as a result of the ordeal, and the man is currently being held by police.
Earlier reports emerged suggesting the man had claimed he had a knife in the Bella Italia restaurant in Leicester Square, and was holding at least one person against their will.
Police informed media that the incident was not terror-related.
