Summer has finally hit with a vengeance with most of NSW being in the midst of a heat wave.
El Nino has started to break down which is causing temperatures to soar with parts of the state being hot enough to fry an egg on your car bonnet.
Wilcannia in the west of NSW reached 45.3 degrees yesterday and may reach 46 tomorrow making it one of the hottest places on Earth.
Sydney is having much milder weather, only reaching 28 today, while the western suburbs will reach around 35 degrees, before spiking back up on Thursday will tops of 35 in the city and 41 in the west.
Stay cool and keep hydrated, because it looks like peak summer is here for a couple of weeks.
