Headphone wearing woman walks into oncoming car

Look both ways, and use your ears.

A woman who has been struck by a car in Melbourne was found to have been wearing headphones and not able to hear the oncoming vehicle.

The car hit the brakes just in time to narrowly avoid seriously injuring the pedestrian reports MSN.

The accident occurred on Plenty Road in Reservoir, Melbourne and footage was posted onto the DashCam Owners Australia Facebook page last night.

The video shows a car travelling in the far left lane when a woman steps directly in front of the car without looking either left or right. She is wearing headphones.

The driver screams and applies the brakes and swerves, but the pedestrian still hits the bonnet.

The police and ambulance were called but the woman was not seriously harmed.
