A billboard promoting insurance in Geelong’s Westfield Shopping Centre has come under fire for being too realistic and shocking families.
The large GMHBA poster hanging from the food hall roof depicts a young girl swinging on the base of the sign.
“Relax, GMHBA’s got your family covered,” the sign reads.
Father Justin Witcombe visited the shopping centre with his wife Samantha and his four-year-old daughter Delilah.
He said Delilah was disturbed by the poster, thinking it was a real child clinging metres above the shopping centre, news.com.au reports.
A spokesperson from the insurance company told Geelong Advertiser they were surprised by the reaction and are evaluating feedback.
