Guru teaching men how to bully women in bed banned

Mr Blanc has been accused of encouraging men to use “power and control” over women.

A MELBOURNE hotel has cancelled an event hosted by members of a group associated with the so-called pick-up king, Julien Blanc.

The ABC reports that Immigration Minister Peter Dutton is also being pressured to cancel a visa issued to Jeff Allen, who is one of Mr Blanc’s colleagues in a business designed to teach men how to convince women to have sex with them.

The two men boast of their prowess when it comes to “picking up” women. Many people find their techniques objectionable, or even illegal.

A petition on Change.org calls for Jeff Allen to be deported from Australia.

He was due to host events in Melbourne after his colleague, Mr Blanc, was denied a visa.

An event at the Vibe Hotel in Melbourne has been cancelled, with the hotel saying it had been “booked under another name … (we have) cancelled any further events at all hotels”.

Mr Blanc has previously apologised for the offence he causes, saying he didn’t want to “feel like the most hated man in the world”.

Mr Blanc has been accused of encouraging men to use “power and control” over women, including emotional abuse and “male privilege” to get them to agree to sex.
