Brisbane man Aaron McAllister has gone through the unthinkable.
The fitness specialist married the love of his life, Yasmin McAllister, in July 2016, and the pair were busy building a fitness empire together.
Yasmin, an interior designer, had designed the gym for Aaron’s company, Fitazfk, which she was heavily involved in promoting.
But in June this year, tragedy struck.
Yasmin was walking to a Brisbane bus stop on her way to work when two cars collided, one crashing straight into her.
Doctors were unable to save the 27-year-old who’d suffered severe head trauma.
Aaron left a beautiful tribute to his wife of less than a year on Facebook:
“My baby, my princess… Thanks for blessing my life with a love that most people will never experience in their whole lifetime,” he wrote.
“I cannot be angry that you have been taken from me I can only be grateful that I ever met you,” he continued.
“God put us together because he had a plan. As hard as you leaving Earth is for me to handle I am holding on to the memories and I am thankful that I got to hold you, kiss you, love you and call you my wife.
“Please come and visit me from time to time, watch over me and guide me through this life until we meet again. My heart and soul are broken.”
He added: “I miss you so much and I know life is going to be tough without you but I promise you I will face it head on as that’s what you would have wanted.”
And, true to his word, Aaron has finished the dream they were creating together (you can watch at the top).
Aaron also worked with Fitazfk co-founder Georgio to bring the gym to fruition.
“Yasmin and I wanted to build this gym together, and make it something really special. Now that she’s gone, it’s extra motivation for us,” Aaron said in a statement.
“Yasmin was the most beautiful person inside and out, and her passing impacted not only her close friends and family but every single person she crossed paths with.”
Fitazfk has been built in line with Ms McAllister’s designs, but a huge portrait of Yasmin has also been included in the gym.
A beautiful tribute for a beautiful person.
