A Google Street View camera has inadvertently captured photographs “proving” an historic New York house is haunted.
Eagle-eyed house hunters spotted the spooky images while researching the New York property, which is currently for sale.

The pictures clearly show eerie “ghostly” handprints in the upstairs windows of the house, built in 1880s and located in the state’s Camden neighbourhood.
The house has been listed for sale since 2010, when its current owner abruptly moved out, just weeks after they bought the property.
But while many internet users claim the handprints are “proof” of paranormal activity, others insist it is far more likely they are just white paint.
