The Smiths were returning from their family holiday when they noticed the little piglet โ€“ who they named โ€œWee Weeโ€ โ€“ struggling in the snow.

The family nursed him back to health by wrapping him in blankets and feeding him meals of smashed bananas.

โ€œI told the kids, โ€˜Listen, we donโ€™t have any choice but to take this pig in. Weโ€™re gonna see if we canโ€™t warm him upโ€ฆwhen we get to the hotel,โ€™โ€ dad Perry Smith told ABC News.

The family found him a permanent home at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary as they arenโ€™t able to keep him โ€“ heโ€™s set to weigh in at 300 pounds or more when fully grown!
