Back in 1981, Turia’s father, Michael Pitt was on the May 13 cover of the then weekly magazine for a feature on knits.

Turia shared a fabulous picture of them together on Instagram – each proudly holding their issue. The motivational speaker and burns survivor accompanied the image with the caption: “Like father like daughter… Dad and I on the front cover of the @womensweeklymag #flashback #eighties #familylove”.
“Dad was a model back in the day and made his debut on the Weekly cover back in the eighties,” Turia said. “Now we’ve pulled off the father-daughter double whammy.”
