A faithful dog was found watching over his owner who police say died in a cycling accident.
The family of Peter Jacobson, a father-of-one, reported him missing late on Friday night after he failed to return from an early evening bike ride through the bush, 9News reports.
However, when the 42-year-old’s body was found around 4pm yesterday in Toohey State Forest, south of Brisbane, his Staffordshire terrier, Rocky, was waiting by his side.
Police say his death appears to have been accidental.
