Escaped ISIS sex slave tells of horror in new book

An escaped 18 year old ISIS sex slave has written a book describing the horrors kidnapped women are being subjected to at the hands of the jihadi group.

An 18 year old Yazidi girl has spoken openly about the day she was abducted by ISIS militants and subsequently sold into what she believes is an international sex slave market.

The girl, Jinan, was abducted from her village in Northern Iraq last year when ISIS troops stormed her village and took her prisoner before torturing and sexually abusing her and the other captives in the terror group’s stronghold of Mosul.

After being moved around between a number of locations she was bought as a sex slave by a former policeman and an imam who are now ISIS militants. Once bought, fighters would come to the house where she and other women here being held.

“They tortured us, tried to forcefully convert us. If we refused we were beaten… Sometimes they threatened to torture us with electricity,” Jinan told DailyMail.

“These men are not human. They only think of death. They take drugs constantly. They seek vengeance against everyone. They say that one day Islamic State will rule over the whole world.”

At one “slave market” Jinan said dozens of women were being held in a large room, and it was not only Iraqis and Syrians trading women but also Westerners, whose actual nationality was not clear. Potential buyers would inspect the women “like livestock.”

“The fighters circulated among us, laughing raucously, pinching our backsides,” she writes in her book ‘Daesh’s Slave’ – titled using the reproachful Arabic word for the extremist group.

After three horrific months Jinan managed to escape using a set of stolen keys, and she traveled back to her husband. They are now refugees in a Yazidi Camp in Iraqi Kurdistan.

“If we go back home, there will be other genocides against us. The only solution is that we have a region to ourselves, under international protection,” she said.

There are thousands of women like Jinan being held captive by the Islamic extremist group, who are being forced to endure unimaginable cruelty and depravity.
