We’ve long told our kids that Santa knows whether they’ve been naughty or nice, but just how he receives that information has always been a mystery. Until now that is!
Enter Elf on the Shelf, a cute little festively-clad elf who watches over excited children in the lead up to Christmas to determine who makes Santa’s nice list.
The Elf – who began life as a children’s book in 2005 – is moved each night by parents so that when their little ones wake up, they have to hunt around the house to discover what he’s been up to while they were asleep.
And by the looks of the plethora of Elf on the Shelf pictures uploaded to Pinterest, it seems ingenious parents are having a lot of fun giving Elf a life of his own.
