Daniel Holdom, the man charged with the murder of Karlie Pearce-Stevenson is expected to be charged with the murder of her daughter, Khandalyce Pearce today.
NSW Police have confirmed the expected charge after arresting the 41-year-old at 8:30am on Tuesday, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
Holdom is currently being interviewed at Paramatta Police Station.
In July Khandalyce Pearce’s remains were found inside a suitcase on the side of a highway near Wynarka, in rural South Australia.
The case rocked the nation and led detectives to connect the two-year-old’s murder with the murder of 20-year-old Karlie Pearce-Stevenson whose body was found in NSW’s Belanglo State Forest in 2010.
Karlie Pearce-Stevenson was last seen in 2008.
Police will reportedly allege Holdom killed Karlie Pearce-Stevenson in December 2008 before murdering her daughter days later.
