Ok, so we might have complained ever-so-slightly (read: definitely complained loudly) about the heat in Sydney the past few days but the sun has decided to shun Sydney together and the rain has started in a big way.
There’s now flash flooding in Sydney and some of the footage is pretty crazy.
The Bureau of Meteorology said 49mm of rain had fallen in an hour at Marrickville and 45mm in Canterbury.
Be careful out there, folks. And Godspeed to those poor souls who forgot their brollies in Sydney today…
