Crash leaves at least 10 kids without a mother

Three women were killed and two injured in the horrific Western Sydney accident.

Three women have been killed in a horrific crash during a police crash in Sydney’s west, leaving more than 10 children without mothers.

They were in the back seat of a white Holden Commodore when police signalled for the car to pull over at about 1am early Sunday morning after they were spotted without their lights on.

All three women died when the travelling car hit a power pole, before flipping and landing in the front yard of a Marayong home on Railway Rd, splitting the vehicle in two.

The women were identified as mother-of-four Roza Mawen, her cousin Adut Garang, from Western Sydney, and their friend Bianca Goak, from Melbourne.

The alleged driver of the car, 33-year-old John Diing, sped off at the sight of police before crashing seconds later, killing the women and injuring another female passenger, Asunta Jongkor.

Ms Mawen’s aunt Aguil Akec told The Daily Telegraph that she had left behind four children, including a one-year-old baby.

She also said family friend Bianca Goak has left behind at least seven children.

Another family member said they “did not blame [the driver] at all.”

A neighbour said she saw two people laying on the ground just after she heard the crash, and heard the driver screaming as he climbed out of the wreckage.

Two of the women died at the scene and the other was rushed to hospital, but died soon after.

Mr Diing and Ms Jongkor remain in a serious condition at Westmead Hospital.

Mr Diing’s aunty, Tresa Diing, broke down with the chilling thought of all those children left behind without a mother.

“How are the kids going to survive with no mother?,” she said. “The father will be there but the mother does a lot of things for the kids.”
