Nicholas and Rafaela Ordaz celebrated their 82nd wedding anniversary on the weekend, a milestone that ranks them amongst the most enduring marriages ever recorded.
The pair celebrated the occasion surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at a party in Tracy, California, reports 9news.
Their anniversary fell on Nicholas Ordaz’s 102nd birthday giving the entire clan two big reasons to celebrate.
The happy couple said the secret to a lasting marriage was respect, affection and not sweating the small stuff.
