Convicted murderer caught after 40 years on the run

Oscar Juarez, now 66, has apparently lived an unblemished live since escaping just three years into his life sentence for shooting another man.

A convicted murderer who escaped prison by putting a dummy in his prison bed and sawing through prison bars has been re-captured after almost four decades on the run.

The Star Tribune says he had created many new identities for himself and stayed on the move over the years, but had been at his most recent address for 15 years. Neighbours described him as quiet.
